Coloured Bottles is expanding into the home care and cleaning sector - bringing the same glass expertise we've built across food, cosmetic and fragrance brands to detergent, hand wash and surface spray packaging.
For years we've supplied glass to food, cosmetic, fragrance and medical brands. Now we're turning that same attention to home care and cleaning - a sector with different pressures: high fill volumes, aggressive chemical formulations, and a customer base that increasingly expects packaging to look considered, not just functional.

Alpha Bottles: the everyday workhorse
Our Glass Alpha Bottle is the starting point for most home care lines - clear, amber or matt black glass, in 250ml, 300ml and 500ml. It's a dependable, no-fuss format for detergents, surface cleaners and refillable hand wash, priced to work at volume without cutting corners on glass quality.
Miron Violet Glass: the premium tier
For brands positioning at the natural or premium end of home care — plant-based detergents, botanical surface sprays, refill-focused eco brands — we stock Miron violet glass in the Virgo and Draco designs.
Miron glass doesn't just darken a bottle, it filters light selectively. Visible wavelengths that accelerate oxidation are blocked, while UV-A and infrared frequencies pass through. For formulations built on essential oils or plant extracts, that's a genuine point of difference, and a strong shelf story for brands looking to justify a premium price point.
